Driven by Isuzu's field-proven 5.2-liter 4HK1-TC turbocharged inline 4-cylinder common-rail engine, it utilizes an electronic variable-geometry turbocharger to deliver flat, robust low-end torque. This enables it to easily pull full 10-yard heaps from standstill positions on active jobsites while consuming up to 20% less fuel than traditional 6-cylinder configurations.

Built to handle punishing daily drops, the chassis is engineered with a high-rigidity cold-riveted ladder frame and heavy-duty multi-leaf steel springs. The modern low-cab-forward design features Isuzu's distinctive large windshield for elite operator visibility, a full air brake network with an anti-lock braking system (ABS), and a heavy-duty underbody or front-end hydraulic hoist ram for quick, clean material dumping cycles.
