In a powerful synergy of fleet power and technical execution, FM Contracting and Rent-A-Quip successfully delivered comprehensive site preparation, civil infrastructure, and advanced stormwater management systems for the Phoenix Park Industrial Estate. Our teams transformed raw acreage into a highly functional, structurally secure industrial hub capable of supporting heavy commercial enterprise.
Scope of Works Delivered
Mass Site Clearing & Subgrade Preparation: Executed the strategic felling and clearing of 1,000 trees, alongside the mass excavation and off-site haulage of 50,000m3 of unsuitable material to establish optimum structural subgrade levels.
Bulk Structural Material Supply: Sourced, transported, and strategically placed 45,000m3 of high-quality engineered sand to fulfill strict structural fill and foundational requirements across the estate.
Advanced Stormwater Management Systems: Safeguarded the estate from environmental risks by executing the mass excavation of 80,000m3 of earth to construct a critical off-site detention pond. Additionally, our teams performed precision desilting across 5 existing on-site detention ponds and installed robust stormwater and box drainage networks to handle heavy industrial runoff.
Civil Infrastructure & Access Roadways: Engineered and constructed primary access roads throughout the estate, establishing high-durability transport links designed to withstand continuous heavy vehicle and industrial traffic.
Structural Earth Retention: Expertly constructed heavy-duty retaining walls to provide crucial structural support, stabilize vulnerable embankments, and prevent long-term soil erosion across key zones of the project site.
Heavy Equipment Fleet Logistics: Maintained continuous, high-velocity site operations through a dedicated, specialized machinery fleet provided and managed by Rent-A-Quip.
