RENT-A-QUIP was born out of the success and experience of FM Contracting & Services Ltd, a civil engineering contractor that has been operating throughout Trinidad & Tobago since 2001.

For years, FM Contracting & Services Ltd specialized in civil engineering and infrastructure works, gaining firsthand experience in the demanding conditions of the construction industry. Through daily operations on major projects, the company recognized a growing challenge faced by contractors — the need for reliable, modern heavy equipment supported by skilled operators and dependable service.

To meet the demands of its own projects, the company invested heavily in building and maintaining an extensive fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, and support machinery. As the fleet expanded, so did the demand from other contractors and major companies seeking dependable equipment solutions.
