Project Overview
Over an extensive duration of three-plus years, FM Contracting played a pivotal role in the successful execution and delivery of the San Fernando Wastewater Treatment Plant. Serving as a primary infrastructure partner, we provided end-to-end heavy equipment logistics and massive bulk material supply. Our sustained operational support contributed directly to the establishment of an upgraded, modern wastewater treatment facility, significantly improving environmental sustainability and public health infrastructure for the region.
Scope of Works Delivered
Large-Scale Fleet Mobilization & Support: Deployed, managed, and maintained a diverse, specialized heavy equipment fleet over a 36+ month timeline to support continuous, multi-phase plant construction.
Precision Excavation & Handling Fleet: Provided high-performance earthmoving machinery, including highly versatile 14 & 20-Ton Excavators, 2 & 3-Ton Mini Excavators, and Dozers to execute major subgrade development, trenching, and structural foundation preparation.
Civil Utility & Demolition Support: Provided Backhoe Loaders, specialized Demolition Hammers for controlled structural breaking, and high-capacity De-watering Pumps critical for maintaining dry, stable work zones during deep utility installations.
Compaction & Haulage Logistics: Facilitated site compaction and massive material movement utilizing a strategic fleet of multi-ton Rollers (1, 3, and 12 Tons) alongside heavy-duty Dump Trucks (5, 10, and 20 Yards) for efficient on-site and off-site haulage.
High-Volume Engineered Material Supply: Sourced, quality-tested, and successfully delivered over 95,000m3 of critical aggregates and foundational materials to meet exact engineering specifications, including:
60,000m3 of Cleanfill Sand for structural backfilling and site leveling.
20,000m3 of Plastering Sand for structural finishing and masonry works.
10,000m3 of Structural Stone for drainage and stabilization layers.
5,000m3 of Washed Gravel for filtration systems and concrete blending.
